Solitaire, calculateur, perspicace, maître de son espace, il mimétise ses pas dans le dense tapis végétal d’un tropique chargé de profondeurs et de légendes. Le cunaguaro se dédouble: il peut être dans la plaine, la mangrove et la terre aride, tout en même temps. Il tient ainsi l’horizon, la mousse humide et l’épine… d’un même agrippement.
 
Solitary, calculating, astute, and master of its domain, it moves stealthily across the dense carpet of vegetation in a tropical landscape steeped by. The cunaguaro seems to split in two: he can inhabit the plains, the mangroves, and the arid scrublands all at once. Thus, it holds the horizon, the damp moss, and the thorn… all in a single, firm grasp.
