TEACHING
René OREA SÁNCHEZ holds the French State Diploma (Diplôme d'État), obtained through the Validation of Prior Experiential Learning (VAE) process at the École Supérieure Musique et Danse (ESMD) Hauts-de-France-Lille (2024). His teaching career began in Venezuela with "El Sistema" in 1997.
In addition to the institutions listed below, René Orea has led workshops on South American music at various locations, including the Sølvberget bibliotek og Kulturhuset in Stavanger (Norway), Queen's University (Kingston, Ontario), the Centre des musiciens du monde in Montreal, the Institut supérieur des arts de Toulouse (IsdaT), and other institutions in France (University of Avignon, the Perpignan Conservatory, and CÉFÉDEM de Lorraine).

The Voreppe Municipal Music School (Isère, France) was established in 1979 and is managed by the Voreppe town hall. Since the 1990s, the school has been located in the town's citadel, a 14th-century monument.
